丝路起点研究的新视野——评石云涛《丝绸之路的起源》

石云涛《丝绸之路的起源》是丝绸之路研究的新成果,把中外交流的历史追溯至远古时代。与以往把丝绸之路局限在中西交通方面不同,作者把丝绸之路起源的认识扩大到与东北亚、东亚、东南亚、南亚等不同方向的中外交通和交流的研究,草原丝路、海上丝路、南方丝路以及与古代朝鲜半岛、日本等的早期交通和交流都进入丝路起源研究的视野,认为汉武帝时代的开拓标志着丝绸之路的形成。

The Origin of the Silk Road is a new achievement on the Silk Road study. Professor Shi Yuntao, the author of the book, makes a research and finds out the history between ancient China and for- eign world should be dated back to high antiquity. Distinctive from previous study which stays within the boundary of eastern--western communication, the author expands people＇s understanding of the origin of the Silk Road to a more diversified scope, such as China＇s communication with Northeast Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia in ancient times. What＇s more, Grassland Silk Road, Maritime Silk Road and South Silk Road, as well as China＇s early communication with the ancient Korean Peninsula and Ja- pan, are also included to further the study of the origin of the Silk Road. Therefore, the author holds the opinion that the exploration in the era of Emperor Wu in Han Dynasty marks the formation of the Silk Road.
