斯蒂夫·哈蒙斯(Stephen Harmon)是美国乔治亚州立大学教育与人类发展学院教授、学习技术系主任,研究领域是新兴信息技术的教育应用,尤其关注实时在线学习环境,曾任美国国际开发总署在非洲国家教育发展和民主项目顾问、美国教育传播与技术协会(AECT)主席。他发表的学术论文、专著超过120篇(部),2011年获乔治亚州立大学创新教学奖。
Dr. Stephen Harmon is a professor and chair of the Learning Technologies Division in the College of Education Human Development at Georgia State University. Prof. Harmon also served as the former president of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology( AECT).Prof. Harmon's main research field centers on educational uses of emerging technologies,and he particularly focuses on synchronous and online learning environments. He also conducts research on educational technologies in developing countries. He has worked in several Middle Eastern and African countries,including working as a consultant for USAID's Education for Development and Democracy Initiative in Africa. Prof. Harmon published over 120 journal articles and books,and he won the Georgia State University's Innovative Instruction Award in 2011.
