MOOC如何变革高等教育——基于波兰尼知识论视角的思考

How MOOC Transforms Higher Education—— Based on the View of Polanyi's Epistemology

MOOC虽然在精英教育普及化、利用大数据变革教育、开展新教育模式实验等方面取得了一定的成效,但从波兰尼的知识论视角观察,MOOC不能完全取消教师的地位,不能完全替代言传身教的模式,不能脱离教育的文化共同体。人工智能、虚拟现实技术的发展以及在线协作学习、研究的模式也许是MOOC未来可能的创新突破之处。

MOOC （Massive Open Online Courses） has been effective in popularizing elite education, transforming education with big data and developing experiments of new education models. However, from the view of Polanyi＇s Epistemology, it cannot completely take the place of teachers, or replace the mode of instructing with words and deeds, or separate from the cultural community in education. It is expected that the possible future breakthrough of MOOC lies in the development of artificial intelligence, technology of virtual reality and online collaborative learning and research modes.
