This paper introduces Professor Caigan＇ s clinical experience in treating geriatric diseases with ointment. Professor Cai thinks that geriatric diseases were intermingled with excess and deficiency syndromes, and syndromes of phlegm and blood stasis interpentrated. In clinic practice , he pay more attention to acquired factors, and taking into account the innate in clinic.
