摘要
在参考辜向东与李亚果CET听力测试任务特征分析框架(2012)的基础上,依据《英语专业四级考试大纲》及《英语专业教学大纲》对听力测试的要求,制定了TEM-4听力测试任务特征分析框架,并运用此框架对2005年至2014年TEM-4听力试题的语篇输入和预期回答任务特征进行历时分析,旨在探讨这十年TEM-4听力测试的命题质量。研究结果表明:TEM-4听力试题的语篇输入和预期回答任务特征与相应教学大纲及考试大纲的要求基本符合。语篇输入方面,体裁多样,题材丰富,难度、长度适中;预期回答方面,基本涵盖大纲所要求的技能。然而研究也发现一些不足,如部分语篇偏难、偏长、语速较快等。基于此研究结果,尝试为TEM-4听力测试命题提出参考性建议。
Based on the framework (2012) and the requirement on listening of test task characteristics put torward by Gu Xiangdong and Li Yaguo test in TEM -4 teaching syllabus and TEM -4 testing syllabus,this paper constructs an analysis framework of TEM -4 listening test. By employing this framework, this paper makes a chronological analysis in terms of the characteristies of the input and the expected responses of 10 TEM -4 listening tests administered between 2005 and 2014, aiming to examine the quality of these test papers. The findings of the study suggest that the characteristics of the input and the expected responses of TEM -4 listening test items accord basically with the requirements of the corresponding teaching and testing syllabuses. On the characteristies of the input, it has diversified genres, wide topics and appropriate difficulty and length. On the characteristies of the expected responses, it has covered most of the skills required in the teaching and testing syllabus. However, some shortcomings need to be addressed: the listening materials of some test papers are too difficult or too long, while the speech rate in some of the test recordings is too fast. Based on these findings, the paper makes some tentative suggestions for the future design of TEM -4 listening test.
