孙氏正骨术是湖南省新邵县(古属梅山地区)龙山脚下的孙氏家族将家传的武伤医术与古老神秘的梅山医学中的接骨术、中医骨伤学及道教医学相结合而创立的独具特色的,通过手法整复、外固定、药物、练功等治疗骨折、脱臼、闪挫扭伤、筋骨疼痛等骨伤的综合性医术,有完整、系统的理论体系和技术体系,其学术思想体系主要包括形神并重、整体调治、理筋正骨、期位辨治、健脾和胃、众术共成6个方面。

Sun＇s bone- setting method is unique and formed from Sun＇s medical skill for injury in the martial arts （ which is handed down from the older generations of the family at the foot of Long Mountain in Xinshao County,Hunan Province, China）, bone - setting manipulation in ancient and mysterious Meishan medicine, orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine, and Taoism medicine. It is a comprehensive medical skill for fracture, dislocation, sudden sprain and contusion, and arthralgia and myatgia by manipulative reduction, external fixation, medicines, and practicing Kungfu. It has complete and systematic theoretical system and technical system. And its academic think- ing system mainly includes six aspects as follows ： equilibrating of shape and spirit, overall modulating, tendon - reg- ulation and bone- setting, syndrome differentiation- based treatment by stages and locations, strengthening the spleen and stomach, and combining all different ways.
