Combining teaching experience and effect,the paper aims to analyze and evaluate the textbook New Frame English （editor-in-Chief, An Xiaocan, Higher Education Press, 2010）, of which the target learners are college students majoring in music, physical education and fine arts. The writer believes the series of textbooks advocate the idea of ＂English is of the world＂ from an innovative positioning of using extensive light topics, unique European perspectives, active cross-cultural designs and sharp social responsibility consciousness. The textbooks effectively drive students in learning applied English, is suitable for teaching methods such as group work and flipped class, and help students understand and establish a global consciousness of inter-cultural values.
