“全面揭露发掘法”与“探方揭露发掘法”评议

Some Commentaries on the "Open Area Excavation" and "Grid Excavation"

探方揭露发掘法是中国考古学界最为普遍、最为流行的田野考古发掘方法。随着聚落考古研究的兴起与发展，越来越多的中国学者对田野考古发掘方法的问题给予了极大的关注和积极的探索。2001年，中、法两国考古学者联合对河南南阳龚营遗址进行发掘’”，可以说这是中国境内第一次运用全面揭露发掘法开展的考古发掘工作。之后，又有中国学者前往法国专门学习全面揭露发掘法口l，对全面揭露发掘法有了比较全面的认识和了解。

Through the brief retrospect of the history of the ＂open area excavation＂ and the summarization of the ideas, methods and principles of the ＂open area excavation＂ , this paper makes detailed comparisons between the ＂open area excavation＂ and ＂grid excavation＂ in six aspects, and draws a terse conclusion on the positive and negative experiences of the applications of these two excavation methods in the practices of archaeological fieldwork. The conclusion points out that the ＂open area excavation＂ and ＂grid excavation＂ do not have advantages and disadvantages over each other, and the application of which one of them should depend on the actual situations in the archaeological excavations in order to better reveal the complicated relationships among the features in the sites.
