Research Progresses in Regulation between the Neddylation Pathway and Virus Infection

Nedd8是一类结构上与泛素相似的分子,广泛参与蛋白质翻译后修饰,这一过程被称为Neddylation。Neddylation修饰已经被证实参与几乎所有细胞内的调控过程,并在病毒感染过程有着重要的调控作用,但对于其具体的调控机制研究还十分匮乏。深入开展Neddylation修饰与病毒感染之间的分子调控机制研究将有助于阐明病毒的致病机理。

Nedd8 is a kind of ubiquitin-like molecules and involved in protein modification.Covalent conjugation of Nedd8 to proteins at the post-translational level is called "neddylation".The latter has been shown to be involved in almost all cellular processes,and has a key role in immune regulation.The relationship between neddylation and virus infection is not clear.Regulation of virus infection by neddylation modification merits further investigation.
