Survey of health literacy on infectious disease prevention among some PAP soldiers

【目的】了解武警某部战士传染病预防健康素养水平,为部队开展传染病预防健康教育提供理论依据。【方法】采用随机整群抽样的方法抽取某部3个中队630名官兵,采用自拟问卷对其进行传染病预防健康素养调查。【结果】武警战士具备传染病预防健康素养率为12.5%;知识与基本理念健康素养、生活方式素养、预防技能素养分别为19.7%、31.4%、86.3%。各项条目的知晓率中"可通过改变生活行为习惯预防传染病"知晓率为85.5%,其中"疫苗接种是预防传染病最有效经济的措施"的知晓率仅为9.8%。不同性别、不同学历组的健康素养水平不同,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。【结论】有针对性的加强基层官兵传染病预防专题教育。教育内容上在注意知识和理念教育的同时,应特别注意基本技能的教育指导。

【Objective】To investigate the status of health literacy on infectious disease prevention among soldiers of some PAP, and provide theoretical bases for health education of infectious disease prevention in PAP.【Methods】A total of 630 officers and soldiers from 3 squadrons were selected via Random cluster sampling. Their health literacy on infectious disease prevention was evaluated via self-designed questionnaire.【Results】The rate of health literacy on infectious disease prevention was 12.5% in PAP soldiers. The rates of health literacy on knowledge and basic health concepts,healthy lifestyle and behaviors,and prevention skills were 19.7%,31.4%and 86.3%, respectively.The awareness rate of the item that infectious diseases could be prevented by changing life style and behaviors was 85.5%, and the awareness rate of the item that vaccine inoculation was the best and economical measure to prevent infectious diseases was only 9.8%. There was statistical difference among groups with different education and gender（P〈0.05）.【Conclusion】Special health education on infectious disease prevention should be strengthened in target officers and soldiers of grass roots. Education contents should focus not only on knowledge and concepts, but also on basic skills.
