摘要
作为比较政治学的核心理论之一,国家理论在过去四十年得到了实质性发展。首先本文梳理介绍了不同理论视角下的国家概念和国家类型。然后回顾了国家理论的发展,从20世纪六七十年代社会中心论主导到80年代初兴起的'找回国家'运动的国家中心论,再到80年代末90年代初兴起的国家—社会关系的再平衡。其次,文章第三部分从国家建构视角讨论了不同地区现代国家的形成及其相应的理论解释。最后文章对国家理论的研究作了一些方法论上的讨论。
This paper reviews the development of empirical state theory in the last forty years.The first section introduces and discusses state concepts and typologies under different theoretical perspectives.Then it traces the societycentered theories,the'bringing the state back in'movement,and state-society relationships theories in comparative politics.The third sector reviews state building theories and its revised versions in different regions.The paper ends up with a discussion on the methodology difficulties of studying the state.
