摘要
以系统功能语言学的评价理论为依据,从态度和介入两个层面对中关两国主流平面媒体的体育新闻报道进行语篇对比分析,讨论其不同的语言特征和叙事方式对受众的情感、态度以及价值取向的不同影响,并对产生这种差异的不同社会文化内涵进行剖析,进而为加强我国体育新闻国际化报道的能力、为争取跨文化交流视野中的体育新闻话语权提供借鉴和参考。
In the light of the appraisal theory in systematic functional linguistics,this paper performs a discourse analysis of sports news reports from mainstream print media in China and USA in terms of attitude and engagement,and discusses the different influences of language features on the readers’ emotional reactions,attitudes and values.It also throws some light on the different social cultural courses that bring about this diversity,in the hope of providing some help for promoting the internationalization of China’s sports news report and amplifying its voice in cross-cultural communication.
