摘要
综合英语课程群建设是高校英语专业课程建设的一种有效尝试。由于英语专业的综合英语课程旨在训练英语专业学生的英语基本技能,故在其基础上构建的综合英语课程群能更系统地促进学生英语综合素质的提高。本文拟通过分析综合英语课程群的构建、高校英语专业学生的英语知识和英语技能的培养要求,力图探究如何利用综合英语课程群教学和教学团队的合力作用来进一步提高学生英语综合素质,从而培养出更符合社会需求的应用型英语专业人才。
Comprehensive English Course Group is one of the effective practices for curricular construction in college - level Eng- lish major. Starting with the Comprehensive English Course, which aims at the student training for their basic English language skills, this course group will offer more systematic course design for the skill training process so as to improve the students＇ Eng- lish comprehensive quality. This paper aimed to analyze the construction of the Comprehensive English Course Group and the re- quirements for English - major students＇ professional knowledge and skills, investigate the strategies to train the students with the help of Comprehensive English Course Group and the teaching team so that more qualified English - major professionals will be cultivated for the society.
