It is the orientations and goals for the collaborative innovation of university interdisciplinary research organization to meet the social needs based on the social development and provide scientific solutions to mankind for many major social problems. In order to solve mankind＇s most pressing social problems, such as environmental and health care problems, the center for information technology re- search in the interest of society at UC Berkeley creates innovative strategic objectives, design scientific management system, construct reasonable operation mechanism and promote the industrialization and socialization of research results, as well as integrate information technology innovation with social interests, which achieve collaborative innovation.
