The Silk Road is a tie connecting commercial trade among Asia, Africa and Europe. The eastern culture of China's Tang Dynasty and the glamour of the ancient Persia in the west have met here. The trade has also changed the life of travelling merchants on the road and residents living along it in another way, that is, food. As many food traditions have been preserved with the camel bells jingling away, the food on people's table today after thousands of years is actually the heritage of the development of the Silk Road. This article introduces the local food of cities along the Silk Road.
