通过查阅档案文献,对中棉所12的选育、创新和推广等作了回顾,文献资料表明:中棉所12是通过多系混合并在病地与非病地进行交替选择的育种方法于20世纪80年代育成,它丰富了群体的遗传基础,互补协调了抗病、产量、品质的相关关系,首次攻克了棉花的高产、优质、抗病三性状不易结合的难题;是一个高产稳产、适应性广、抗病优质的棉花品种,全国累计推广面积最大,种植时间最长,1990年荣获国家发明一等奖。
Through consulting the archives and documents, the author reviewed the breeding, innovation and populariza- tion of ICR12, literature data showed that, ICR12 was bred in the 1980s by multi - line mixture and alternately selection in the disease & non - disease condition, which enriched the genetic basis of cotton population, and coordinated the correlation between disease resistance, yield and quality. It was the first that ICR12 combined three important agronomic traits, high yield, good quality, disease resistance, which are negative correlation in cotton. ICR12 has the feature of high and stable yield, widespread adaptability, high quality and disease resistance. Having the largest extension area and longest planting time, ICR12 was awarded the first prize of the National Award for Technological Invention in 1990.
