Discuss the Sino-ASEAN Upgraded Cooperation from a TBT Point of View

本文从技术性贸易措施的角度来探讨东盟自贸区合作全面升级后,对我国出口企业而言机遇与挑战并存的现状。东南亚各国之间,经济发展水平有悬殊,然而技术壁垒水平却在逐步趋同,这一方面说明了WTO的原则深入人心,各国在保护本国环境安全、人类及动植物安全的愿望是一致的。东盟市场不再是一个市场准入要求宽松的市场,却是我国重要的产品输出市场,因此应引起广泛的重视。

This paper aims to discuss the challenges that exists within the upgraded cooperation scheme between China and the ASEAN through a brief comparison study on several main exporting goods about their respective market entry requirements. Although among the ASEAN, the economy appears different, the TBT levels seem to be same, which has proved that WTO principles are deeply accepted by all the nations who want to protect environment and health. In one word, The ASEAN market is no longer a easy market with loose market entry requirements, which need much more attention from exporting enterprises.
