Protecting and Preserving Ethnic Minorities' Culture While Developing Tourism

云南旅游业如火如荼的发展一直与采用当地少数民族文化资源密不可分,在很大程度上是目的地少数民族的文化在吸引着国内外的游客前来观光旅游。旅游业成熟发展的同时,旅游目的地少数民族本土文化在很大程度上遭到了一定破坏,或是逐渐商业化,有的更是淡出了当地少数民族的日常生活。因此,在利用少数民族文化资源的同时,如何加强当地少数民族本土文化的保护与传承,迫在眉睫。

The booming tourism in Yunnan Province attributes a lot to the local ethnic minority＇s rich cultural resources. To a large extent, it is the ethnic minorities＇ culture that attracts tourists from home and abroad. With the rapid development of the regional tourism, the culture of local ethnic minorities has been damaged to a certain degree, or has gradually become commercialized and even disappeared from the daily life of the local ethnic minorities. Therefore, it is high time to protect and preserve local ethnic minorities＇ culture while exploring their cultural resources.
