Topology and Typology: A study of Shifting / Code Relations

拓扑学是应用过去的数据的实践行为,作为对后续事件的预示,也包括寻找过去模型以判断现在意识形态的一种选择性方法。而类型学可以被看作是回顾性策略,这种策略是调整历史解释,以适应为一些现在的现实创造类似的预言。以奇卡诺文学这一特殊文学现象为例,可以发掘拓扑学和类型学之间的相互作用,并作为追踪美国文化起源问题的一种方法。

Topology is the branch of mathematics which makes possible the grouping of apparently unrelated objects into categories of similarity through their shared features. And in the literature,it provides proof of the identity of the people as producers. Typology is the practice of using figures from the past as prefigurations of subsequent events,as well as a selective process of finding in the past models to justify present ideologies. Based on the special literature phenomenon,Chicano literature,this article is going to explore the interaction of topology and typology as a means of finding out the origin of American culture.
