摘要
"中庸""中庸之道"是传统儒家文化的核心组成部分之一,是儒家文化的重要理论基础。本文从词义探源的角度,辨证了"中庸"的真正含义,指出"中庸"是修身的基本方法,"中庸之道"就是"中须庸,庸应中,致中和,达诚境"。进一步提出借鉴"中庸"的修身方法,有助于当代大学生自觉培养树立社会主义核心价值观。
The Golden Mean is the core component and important theoretical basis of the traditional Confucian culture. The word meaning of ＂中庸（ the golden mean） ＂is investigated. It is proposed the golden mean is a basic way to cultivate one＇s moral character. The golden mean is to be moderate,mediocre,harmonious and sincere.To refer to the cultivation way of the golden mean will help college students to foster their socialist core values conscientiously.
