This article mainly introduced those key points of the ramp structure design. Taking the Haikou-Haian Ropax ship as an example, the design process was explained in detail. The structure strength was check by rule check and FEA. In addition, the calculation method of the shaft pin and the pad eye was introduced. Pad eye with complex - shape was verified with FEA. This article could serve as theoretical basis for ramp＇ s safety and rational design.
