The existing quality sampling plan of tubing and casing implemented in the coal bed gas companies is introduced. The sampling scheme requires a lot of economic investment according to the statistical analysis. Compared with the national sampling standard and according to the characteristics of the coal bed gas companies, it can be found that the existing tubing and casing quali- ty inspection sampling plan can be further optimized. It is suggested that the coal bed gas companies use a statistical sampling method to ensure the tubing and casing quality inspection of the coal bed gas companies to be scientific and economic.
