《德伯家的苔丝》描写了一位纯朴善良的少女——苔丝为爱而牺牲的悲剧一生。苔丝的爱情悲剧是由其性格和社会的多重因素所引起的,各种复杂的原因交织成一股强大的邪恶势力,彻底摧毁了这位纯洁美丽而又勤劳淳朴善良的农村姑娘。她有着顽强的生命力和独立的爱情理想,并以独特的方式与命运英勇抗争,她犹如一只扑向爱情之火的美丽彩蝶,生命虽然短暂但却是如此的美丽绚烂。
Tess of the dUrbervilles described the tragic life of a simple and kind girl Tess who died for love. Tess＇love tragic was caused by her personality and many social factors, which formed a big evil force destroying this pure, beautiful and diligent rural girl. She had a strong life and independent live ideal and struggled against fate with the unique way. She was like a beautiful butterfly threw herself into the love fire. Her life was short but beautiful.
