This epitaph summarizes Wang Tikun＇ s life story and his descendants＇ marriage and official positions. It reflects one side of the Qing Kangxi government＇ s policy of mollification towards the descendants of the Ming royal clan members. As the tomb-owner＇ s deeds are rarely recorded in written documents, the epitaph can be used to evidence and supply the relevant historical writings.
