Office of Science and Technology Policy of the White House Plays an Enhanced Role in Policy Making

自2009年奥巴马政府上台以来，白宫科技政策办公室受到总统高度重视，积极参与政府顶层重大决策，制定美国科技创新战略，推动联邦研发预算增长，发起并协调各项跨部门重大研发计划，加强政府与科技界的广泛联系，在美国创新体系中发挥的作用显著增强。本文综合相关公开文献，研究并分析近期白宫科技政策办公室在美国科技创新体系中发挥作用的相关情况。

Since Obama Administration took office in 2009, the Office of Science and Technology Policy （OSTP） of the White House has been placed high emphasis by the President, actively participated in the top- level policy decision making, drafted the US Innovation Strategy, promoted the increase of federal R＆D budget, initiated and coordinated trans-agency R＆D programs, strengthened the link between government and industry/ academia, and played a more important role in the US innovation system.
