Through literature analysis and logical analysis, evaluation criteria and influence factors of athletic superiority were discussed. The essential purpose of athletic competition is the pursuit of athletic superiority; athletic superiority evaluation criteria include three： show higher athletic skill; achieve precunsory goal using elusory means; achieve a better formal competition results than opponent. There are four main influence factors： the referee mistakes, cheating, little tricks and luck. High quality of athletic competition, means reducing the referee mistakes, clear cheating, standardized smaU tricks, and accept the unique role of luck. Ideal athletic superiority evaluation, means using ehisory means to achieve precunsory goal, showing higher athletic skill, and eventually achieving a better formal competition results than opponent.
