A Preliminary Study of the Chinese Overseas Arts Students during the Recent Years

论文梳理了近年来艺术留学的兴起、主要国家艺术留学生概况,介绍了中国艺术留学生在中外艺术交流中的表现。从近代以来,艺术留学生一直是中国留学生大军的重要组成部分,他们对中外文化艺术交流和中国艺术事业的繁荣发展做出了重要贡献。改革开放以来,艺术留学虽然不是最热门的专业,但逐渐趋热。随着国内市场对艺术人才需求的逐渐上升,艺术类留学生也纷纷选择回国就业。在就业前景与政策扶持等问题上,艺术留学生还需要国家和社会的更多关注。

This article introduces the booming of studying abroad among the students who major in arts and praises their role in Sino-foreign artistic exchange. Since the modern era, students in fine arts are an important part of Chinese students studying aboard and have been playing an important role in Sino-foreign artistic communication and the development of Chinese arts. Since the economic reform, although Fine Arts is not a hot subject, it becomes popular due to the job market＇ s need. As a result, many students in Fine Arts have returned to China after graduation. However, it stills needs the government＇ s support to attract more students to return to China.
