摘要
晚清时期,李端棻是朝廷高级官员中为民族复兴作出突出贡献的维新派大臣。为了挽救民族危亡,他积极支持和参与变法维新,试图通过革新政治制度和改革教育体制来改变国人的思想意识,通过培养各类受过新式教育的人才来提高国人的民族教育素质和民族文化素养,振奋民族精神,以达到中华民族的复兴。
In late Qing Dynasty,Li Duan-tsou was one of the senior government officials who made an outstanding contribution advocating national and society reform. In order to salvage the country from perish,he actively supported and participated in reform movement. In order to change the ideology of society,he promoted reformed education and renovated political system. By nurturing various types of talents in modern way,he tried to improve the quality of the Chinese national education and national culture accomplishment. Moreover, he also tried to inspire the nationalism and national spirit, to achieve the revitalization of the Chinese nation.
