Physiological parameters of patients with spinal diseases need to be monitored during rehabilitation exercise,so a wireless wearable T-shirt is adopted for posture monitoring. Patient posture data are collected by Zshaped inductive sensor which is directly sewn onto the fabric. Then, the data are amplified and filtered by signal conditioning circuit. Finally, those data are sent to rehabilitation monitoring and management system at the PC or Android mobile phone terminal via Bluetooth low energy module after micro-controller processing. The system compares with the standard posture data obtained by optical system under the guidance of the physician and reminds patients of correcting their position through the signals with different vibration strength sent by micro-motors. The experiment involving 4 patients shows that the smart T-shirt can generate reliable data through comparing with the data gained by optical system and can help patients form correct postures and recover normal physiological status.
