A Comparative Analysis on the Cognitive Level of Preferential Inference Sentence

择优推断句是现代汉语的一类典型复句,包括两种主要句式:"与其A不如B"和"与其说A不如说B"。对这两句式的比较研究,文章分四部分进行。第一部分介绍认知层面这一概念;第二部分根据这一理论,对"与其A不如B"和"与其说A不如说B"的认知层面进行分析,试图得出人们在使用这两个句式时的认知方面的相同认知规律;第三部分揭示两句式的认知差异及原因;最后对全文进行总结。

Preferential inference sentence is a special kind of complex sentence in contemporary Chinese language. It includes two sentence patterns, ＂yu qi A bu ru B ＂and ＂yu qi shuo A bu ru shuo B ＂.This paper was divided into four parts. Firstly, it introduced the concept of cognitive level. The second part analyzed the cognitive level of ＂yu qi A bu ru B ＂and ＂yu qi shuo A bu ru shuo B ＂according to the above concept, trying to find out the common regularity when two sentence patterns were used. Thirdly,the cognitive differences and causes were revealed. In the last part, a summary was made.
