By referring to the governance of common quality problems for rebar in immersed tube prefabricated construction of Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge island ＆amp; tunnel project, we described the way to treat the common quality problems in immersed tube prefabricated construction and resulting effects from improper support and padding of rebar, deformed and damaged slot, and excessive space between rebar. The governance of common quality problems has substantially enhanced the durability, security and reliability of immersed tube prefabricated construction.
