International education exchange is kind of special international interaction which combines both the exchange of ideas and the exchange of people. Hence,international education exchange is not only an academic but also an ideological and political behavior. After World War II,the United States has promoted the development of international educational and carried out many international education exchanges which are contributive to its economic development,to expanding its political influence by increasing the number of people who hold pro- American attitudes and finally to maintaining and expanding its international cultural communication and exchange,to spreading and consolidating its values as well as to enhancing the soft power of the United States. All that has been mentioned above is of great referential significance to China＇s future development of international education exchange.
