Combined with the background of employment standards for early childhood professionals in America,the paper briefly introduces the employment standards for early childhood professionals in America. Meanwhile,the paper summarizes the characteristics of the employment standards for early childhood professionals in America and its enlightenments which include: the basic employment standard for teachers is that teachers should learn more about their students and understands them more; it should be emphasized that children's development is influenced by various elements,so nursery schools,households and communities should work together; culture should be included in practical standard,so that it should be explicitly required that teachers should understand children and family culture.
