关于构建高职院贫困生救助体系的思考——以南京交通职业技术学院为例

Pondering on the Construction of an Assistance System for Poverty-stricken Students in Higher Vocational Colleges: A Case Study on Nanjing Communications Institute of Technology

近年来,随着高职院招生人数和规模的不断扩张,高职院校中的弱势群体——贫困大学生的人数也越来越多。目前高职院贫困生救助工作的重点仅停留在经济救助上,这并不能从深层次缓解贫困生的学业、生活压力。高职院应重视贫困生的思想政治教育和素质教育,积极探索和完善贫困生救助体系,将贫困生救助工作由单一的经济救助发展为全方位的救助,实现物质和精神的双脱贫。

With the continuous expansion of enrollment and scale in higher vocational colleges, the number of the disadvantaged group of higher vocational colleges, poverty-stricken college students, is increasing. However, the focus of the current assistance for poverty-stricken higher vocational college students is merely economic assistance, which cannot relieve their academic and living pressure. Higher vocational colleges should pay attention to the ideological and political education and quality education of poverty-stricken students, actively explore and improve the assistance system for poverty-stricken students, and transform the single economic assistance to comprehensive assistance, so as to realize the assistance for both material life and spiritual life.
