工商管理硕士(MBA)是针对某个职业领域的特定需要,为培养具有较强的专业能力、能具有创造性地从事实际工作的高层次应用型专门人才,而设置的一种学位类型。它强调实践应用、职业技能与专业化知识结构相结合,决定了其教学课程与传统的学术型研究生的教学课程不同。基于职业为导向的工商管理硕士的培养模式由培养目标、培养方式和培养质量控制三个重要部分组成,它们相互交叉、渗透、融合,构成了综合的三位一体。

Master of Business Administration （MBA） is required for a specific career field. It is a degree type which cultivates high-level applied talents with strong professional capacity and can be creatively engaged in practical work. It emphasizes on the combination of practical applications, specialized knowledge of the structure and the vocational skill, which ordains the differences between postgraduate profession degree teaching and traditional academic teaching. The career-oriented MBA training model consists of three important parts, including training objectives, training methods and training quality control, which intersect, interpenetrate and constitute a comprehensive integration of the trinity.
