摘要
毛丝鼠幼仔,六日龄已基本上达到恒温水平。吮乳期幼仔的静止代谢率较威体高;二日龄前,代谢率变化不符合体表面积定律;二日龄后,趋向成年恒温动物代谢类型,而符合体表面积定律。幼仔在25℃环境的热能消耗比20℃时少。
This paper deals with the development of thermoregulation of young Chinchilla laniger (Family Chinchillidae) in relation to their body weight, .body temperature and resting metabolic rates during 0-30 days old. The resting metabolic rate was determined by using a simple closed-system respirometer and the body temperature was measured in the cavity of rectum at ambient temperatures of 20 and 25℃.At birth the body temperature of young chinchilla equaled 92.96% of homeothermie level in adult. The homeothermie ability fully developed as adult at about 20 days old.The body weight of young individuals at birth equaled 10.25% weight of adult. During 20 days old, they reached 24.29% weight of adult.During 0-30 days old, resting metabolic rates exhibited two inverse metabolic phases of age. 1) For animal between 0 and 2 days old or before full development of chemical thermoregulation in young, there are the positive correlations between age and metabolic rate. But the metabolic rates are not corresponding to the law of body surface area. 2) After 2 days old, there are the negative correlations between age and metabolic rate which are corresponding to the law of body surface area, and the metabolism gradually attains to the metabolic type of adult.During the sucking period the mean metabolic rate of the young was higher than that of the adult. And the heat energy costs of young are lesser at 25℃ than at 20℃.
