中国高等学校园林专业奠基者研究——记著名园艺学家章守玉教授的重要贡献

章守玉教授早年毕业于日本千叶高等园艺学校,回国后曾任南京中山陵园林绿化设计师。抗日战争爆发后,他坚辞日伪政府聘任,辗转到西北农业大学任教。在复旦大学农学院创办造园专业时,应毛宗良教授之请到复旦大学任教。1952年随复旦大学农学院北迁沈阳,成为沈阳农学院一名教授。他在送走新中国第一届造园专业毕业生后,几经努力再办起绿化专业,为沈阳农业大学的园艺、园林学科建设打下了良好的学术基础。

The late Professor ZHANG Shou-yu graduated from Chiba school of Gardening science in Chiba, Japan when he was a young man and worked as a landscape designer after returning home. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Zhang firmly refused to be employed by the Japanese authorities and pseudo governments, but managed to get to Northwest Agricultural University and taught there. When the agronomic department of Fudan University decided to set up the landscape design specialty, Zhang, invited by MAO Zong-liang, a late professor of Fudan University, went to teach there. In 1952 Professor Zhang moved to Shenyang, a city in northeastern China, with other teaching staff of the agronomic department of Fudan University, still serving as professor. In Shenyang, Zhang managed to establish the greening specialty after having finished the cultivation of China＇s first graduates of garden design.
