摘要
简要介绍了一种轻型无中继海底光缆的特点、结构和工艺,在国内首次将低衰减G.652光纤使用在长距离海底光缆通信中,将光纤衰减控制在0.19 d B/km(1 550 nm波长)以下的水平。单根光缆制造长度达到50 km,多根海底光缆经过若干接头盒连接后通过最新的远程泵浦和喇曼光放大技术可以实现450 km长度无中继海底光缆通信。海底光缆由陆上平板车运输到海边,经过提缆架导引到施工船仓,随后进行了快速海中布放,布放速度平均为8.5节,最快速度可以达到11节。布放过程中动态监控海底光缆的光纤衰减,记录到的最大光纤衰减为0.194 d B/km(1 550 nm波长)。
The structure and technique design and performance of a noble lightweight non-repeatered submarine cable is briefly described. As the G. 652 optical fiber with low attenuation is firstly used in long-distance submarine cable communications in domestic, attenuation of less than 0. 19dB/km (at 1550 nm wavelength) can also be attained. The single manufacturing length 50 km connected with junction boxes, non-repeatered transmission of length of 450 km in submarine cables can be realized on the basis of noble remote pump and Raman.optics amplitude technology. Trans- ported by flatbed tricycle to the working seaside and to the working cabin by hanger, the submarine cable were de- ployed subsequently at the speed of 8.5 knots at average and 11 knots at most. During deployment, attenuation of op- tical fiber in the cable was monitored dynamically, the available highest value of which was 0. 194 dB/km( at 1550 nm wavelength).
