摘要
作为一种实证研究方法,个案研究不仅致力于对现象的描述、探索和解释,而且可以通过比较和抽象得出具有理论色彩的结论。不论是基于个案比较和类型化基础之上的"类型比较法"、基于理论反思和研究设计之上的"拓展个案法",还是"多点民族志"及民族志式的抽象,个案研究都凸显着对理论建构的诉求。通过叙事来实现理论建构,这正是个案研究的意义与价值之所在。在严密的研究设计和扎实的田野调查基础之上,我们能够通过个案式的比较与抽象来实现社会理论的建构与发展。
As a kind of empirical research method, case study is not only devoted to description, exploration and explanation of the phenomenon, but also can draw academic conclusion through comparison and abstraction. ＂Approach of classification method＂, ＂extended case method＂, and ＂multi sited ethnography＂ all highlight the demands for theory construction. Achieving theory construction through narrative is just the real meaning and value for a case study. Based on the solid field investigation and rigorous research design, we are able to reconstruct and develop new social theory through a case study.
