摘要
由于英语教学的费时低效,有关大学英语教学改革甚至存废的问题引起了社会的广泛关注。现结合课程论理论中的课程设置应服务于学生需求,社会需求和学科发展需求原理,通过文献、访谈及调查的方法,在梳理当前大学英语课程设置与以上三种需求脱节现状的基础上,提出了大学英语教学改革的关键在于教学内容和相应评价体系的改革,进而提出大学英语立体化课程设置范式、取消四级考试与学位挂钩、改革评价方式、全面实施学分制、加强立体化教材建设及教师团队建设和教学管理改革及相应的人事改革的建议,以期探索一条改变大学英语教学费时低效现状的教改之路。
College English teaching and learning has aroused wide concern due to its time consuming and unrewarding situation. Based on the theory of curriculum, the needs of the learners, the progress of society and the development of the subject should be fulfilled by the curriculum. By analyzing the current college English curriculum under the guidance of the former related research, interviewing and investigation of the learners, this paper contends that the core of English teaching and learning reform lies in teaching contents and its evaluation system and college English curriculum should be multi-level and there should be innovation in the role of college English Band Four examination, evaluation system, teaching material, management system of education, personnel administration with an intention to find an effective reform approach to deal with the present time consuming and unrewarding situation in college English teaching.
