The paper analyzes the passenger information system of urban rail traffic and train-and-station wireless communication scheme and current application situation of signal system. It simply introduces the characteristics of LTE technology. Compared with WLAN technology and DVB-T technology, LTE technology is a more advanced technology and more suitable for rail traffic train-and-station wireless communication. It presents advantages and implementation scheme of LTE technology applied in train-and-station wireless communication.
