Screening of salt-tolerant rice resources at seedling stage in cold region

摘要 【目的】通过水稻幼苗期耐盐性的比较,为寒地水稻耐盐资源筛选及育种提供参考。【方法】以123份苗期耐盐碱粳稻品种(系)为试验材料,以蒸馏水为对照,进行苗期150 mmol/L Na Cl处理,测量其芽长、根长和根数等指标,并对比分析各指标相对抑制率。【结果】盐胁迫下水稻幼苗芽长、根长与根数均极显著下降(P<0.01,下同),相对抑制率表现为根长>芽长>根数。参试材料可分为强耐盐类型、中耐盐类型和弱耐盐类型,其中强耐盐类型芽长和根数抑制率极显著低于中耐盐和弱耐盐类型,而根长抑制率与其他类型无显著差异(P>0.05)。强耐盐材料中品系13G143芽长、根长和根数相对抑制率较低,分别为11.89%、25.36%和10.08%,均低于对照长白9号。【结论】150mmol/L Na Cl胁迫下,水稻品系13G143耐盐碱能力较强,可作为水稻幼苗期耐盐亲本材料应用。 [Objective]The salt tolerance of rice at seedlings stage was compared and screening, in order to provide theoretical reference for screening and breeding salt-resistant rice resources. [ Method ]A total of 123 japonica rice varieties with saline-alkaline tolerance was treated with 150 mmol/L NaCl at seedling stage and distilled water(as control), re- spectively. And the shoot length, root length and root number and other indexes were measured, meanwhile, the relative inhibition rates of these indexes were compared and analyzed. [Result]The results showed that the shoot length, root length and root number decreased extremely significantly under salt stress(P〈0.01, the same below), and their corresponding relative inhibition rates were in order as follows: root length〉shoot length〉root number. The tested materials were divided into 4 types viz., strong salt-tolerant type, salt-tolerant type and weak salt-tolerant type. As for inhibition rate of shoot length and root number, strong sah-tolerant type was extremely significantly lower than other two types, however, there was no significant difference in inhibition rate of root length between strong salt-tolerant type and other types (P〉0.05). A- mong the tested strong salt-tolerant materials, rice lines 13G143 showed less relative inhibition rates of shoot length, root length and root number than other rice lines, and its corresponding inhibition rates were 11.89%, 25.36% and 10.08%, respectively, which was significantly lower than those of Changbai 9. [Conclusion]Under stress of 150 mmol/L NaCl, rice lines 13G143 has strong salt tolerance at seedling stage and can be used as salt-tolerant parent material in rice breeding.
