Personalized Service in American Community Library Based on Consumers' needs

社区图书馆是美国公共图书馆体系中最为广泛、最为庞大的一部分,在公共文化传播过程中扮演着重要角色。其个性化服务模式、用户需求导向的组织宗旨、行之有效的运营机制,对中国社区图书馆个性化服务具有重要的借鉴意义。文章从社区图书馆服务性质、服务角色、内容建设等角度剖析美国社区图书馆个性化服务现状和服务机理。

Community libraries are the widest and largest part of public library system and playing an important role in cultural transmission in the USA. Its personalized service mode, objective of meeting requirements and effective operating mechanism are helpful for Chinese community library. This paper analyzes the current situation of personalized service and mechanism in American community libraries from service nature, service role and content construction.
