公示语翻译现状调查分析显示济宁市公示语翻译存在着双语公示语数量不足,公示语随意翻译、逐字死译等诸多问题,原因则在于翻译者专业水平不高,政府职能部门监管不到位等.规范公示语翻译,首先要重视公示语翻译,翻译人员要提高自身专业水平、以文本类型理论和目的论为理论依托、借鉴已有规范化标准,政府职能部门要加强监管.

The investigation of the current situation of English translation of public signs in Jining reveals the problems as shortage of bilingual public signs, mistranslation, word-to-word translation, and the reasons behind these problems as the translators＇ deficiency in professional competence, government＇s incompetence in examining the public signs translation. In order to normalize the translation of public signs, normalization strategies should be adopted, as to lay more importance on public signs translation, to improve the translators＇ professional competence, to keep to the translation principles： text typology and Skopos theory, and to strengthen government＇s role in examining the public signs translation.
