On MAO Zedong's Outstanding Contribution to the Anti-Japanese National United Front

70年前,中国人民通过长达14年艰苦卓绝的浴血奋战,打败了日本侵略者,赢得了近代以来中国反抗外来侵略的第一次完全胜利。以国共合作为基础的抗日民族统一战线的建立,是抗日战争取得胜利的根本原因。毛泽东作为中国共产党的领袖,分析了建立抗日民族统一战线的必要性和可能性,直接促成了抗日民族统一战线的建立,并亲自制定了我党在抗日民族统一战线中的策略方针,为抗日民族统一战线的建立、发展和巩固做出了不可磨灭的贡献。

70 years ago ,the Chinese people, having fought tenaciously for 14 years, defeated the Japanese invaders and won the great victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. This victory is the first complete victory won by China in its resistance against foreign aggression in modem times and the root cause of winning consists in nothing but the establishment of the Anti-Japanese National United Front based on KMT-CPC cooperation, and the Communist Party of China played an important role in presenting it. As the leader of the CPC, MAO Zedong analyzed the necessity and the possibility of the National United Front, which directly contributed to its establishment, and he personally formulated poli- cies and strategies of it. He has made great contribution to the building, consolidating and developing of the Anti-Japanese National United Front.
