In signal and system, the output of the system is defined as the convolution of the input system and transmission oper ator. The paper put the image smoothing process of the digital image processing into the teaching practice of the signal and system. By using the images to visually describe the signal convolution process, the paper established the students＇ interest in learning convolution mechanism to strengthen the understanding of the convolution.
