摘要
汉字并不仅仅是工具性的存在。作为中华民族的生命符号与情感载体,图象先在的地位决定了汉字本身即是审美的客体。以美学切入汉字,则是关注汉字字象本身的美学意蕴,追索承载于其上的中华民族的审美意识与精神源流。因而,"汉字美学"这一课题的设立,挣脱了书法美学与传统文字学研究的拘囿,开启了汉字、汉语研究朝向哲学的转向。
Chinese characters are not just a utilitarian existence. As the symbolic bear of Chinese national life and feeling, the pre - existent pictographic status determines that Chinese characters are also aesthetic objects. Studying Chinese characters from an aesthetic approach means to pay attention to the aesthetic connotations in Chinese characters and to retrospect the aesthetic consciousness and spirit of Chinese nation to its origin. Therefore, the setting of the program of "Chinese calligraphy aesthetics and traditional linguistic studies, character aesthetics" breaks through the restriction of and has initiated a philosophical turn in the study of Chinese characters and Chinese language.
