Based on the analysis of the previous five public library evaluation criteria, the paper traces the development of literature information resources in public library evaluation. The paper takes into consideration the new situation which public libraries are facing currently, and proposes comprehensive evaluation of literature information resources, laying a foundation for the subsequent literature information resources evaluation of public libraries.
