The Measurements of the Image Sharpness and MTF by Scanner

探讨了借助扫描仪测定影像清晰度和MTF的可行性,采用扫描仪和PDS测微密度仪对T颗粒、立方体和马铃薯型溴碘化银感光材料进行了影像清晰度测定;采用不同显影剂对黑白胶片进行了MTF的测定。结果表明价格低廉的扫描仪可替代测微密度仪。

The feasibility of the determination of the image sharpness and MTF by a scanner was discussed,and some sharpnesses of T-grain,cubic and potato-shaped AgBrI photographic emulsions were determined by the scanner and the PDS microdensitometer,respectively,and MTFs of the commercial black white film developed by different developers were obtained with the same procedures.The results show that a less expensive scanner could be substitute for the noble microdensitometer.
