Classification of Japanese verbs' valence based on valence grammar theory

日语动词有多种分类方法,除传统的分类方法外,还可以以日语结合价语法理论为基础对日语动词进行分类。根据该理论,日语动词可以分为一价动词、二价动词和三价动词,各类动词根据其支配能力及支配的必有格成分的不同,所对应的句式结构也有所不同。将该分类方法导入日语词汇特别是日语动词的教学过程中,可以为日语教学提供理论依据。

In addition to the traditional classification methods, Japanese verbs can be classified into many different ways. For example, they can be classified based on the valence grammar theory. According to the theory, Japanese verbs can be divided into monovalent verbs, bivalent verbs and trivalent verbs. Different verbs have dif- ferent sentence structures depending on their different abilities to govern and the compulsory constituents which fol- low. The introduction of the classification method to the teaching process of Japanese vocabulary, especially verbs, can be a theoretical basis for the Japanese language teaching.
